Kingdom of Persis. Autophradates (Vadfradad) II. Early-mid 2nd century B.C. AR tetradrachm (25 mm, 17.01 g, 9 h). Istakhr (Persepolis). Bearded head right, wearing diadem and kyrbasia adorned with eagle / Fire temple of Ahura-Mazda; above, half-figure of Ahura-Mazda; to left, Vadfradad standing right; to right, eagle standing left on standard. Cf. Sunrise 574. Extremely rare. Reverse a little off center. Extremely fine.
