Kingdom of Persis. Uncertain king I. 2nd century B.C. AR obol (9 mm, 0.59 g, 1 h). Diademed head of king with short beard right, wearing kyrbasia surmounted by an eagle / Fire temple with Ahura-Mazda above; to left, king standing right; to right, standard surmounted by eagle. Klose & Müseler 3/7; Alram 553; Sunrise -. The finest example from a recent group. Mirror-like surfaces Superb extremely fine.
