The hero Thessalos, with petasos and chlamys hanging around neck, restraining bull left by band held around its head / ΛΑΡI-[Σ]-AI (partially retrograde), horse prancing right, trailing rein, within incuse circle. Lorber, Thessalian 60 (same obv. die as illustration); BCD Thessaly II 370.3 (same obv. die); HGC 4, 421 var. (horse left). Near VF, toned, granular surfaces.
