Anonymous. Circa 225-214 BC. AR Didrachm – Quadrigatus (24mm, 6.78 g, 6h). Rome mint. Laureate head of Janus / Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt and holding scepter in left, in quadriga right driven by Victory; in exergue, incuse ROMA on raised tablet. Crawford 30/1; Sydenham 64B; RSC 23; RBW –. VF, lightly toned. Attractive, well centered strike.
