Divus Augustus. Died AD 14. Æ Sestertius (33mm, 18.55 g, 6h). Restitution issue. Rome mint. Struck under Nerva, AD 98. Laureate head of Divus Augustus right / Legend around large S • C. RIC II 136 (Nerva); Komnick 4.0 (Nerva). Fine, green patina, chipped along the edges, some earthen encrusation.

From the WRG Collection, purchased from Guy Clark, May 1995, with an old cabinet ticket written in French.
