KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great'. 336-323 BC. AR Drachm (16mm, 4.30 g, 6h). Lampsakos mint. Struck under Kalas or Demarchos, circa 328/5-323 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; sheathed sword in left field. Price 1349; ADM II Series III. Good VF, lustrous, slight die wear on reverse. Very rare, five in Pella (including the four noted in ADM), five in CoinArchives.
