KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great'. 336-323 BC. AR Drachm (15mm, 4.31 g, 12h). Lampsakos mint. Struck under Kalas or Demarchos, circa 328/5-323 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; star in left field. Price 1350; ADM II Series IV. EF, lustrous, slight die wear on obverse. Struck with fresh reverse die. Very rare, six in Pella (including the three noted in ADM), four in CoinArchives.
