Phrygia, Apameia. 113-48 B.C. AE 16 (15.89 mm, 3.92 g, 12 h). 133-48 B.C. Magistrate Kelainos. Turreted bust of Artemis right, bow and quiver at shoulder / AΠAM[E] - MHTP[O] / KEΛAI, ethnic and magistrate's name vertically downwards to right and left of Marsyas, naked but for chlamys and nebris, walking right [on maeander patterned ground], playing a double flute. SNG von Aulock 3474. Good VF, smooth dark green patina - crisp strike on somewhat skimpy flan crowds reverse legend.
