Constantius Gallus (cousin of Constantius II), as Caesar, Æ Half-Centenionalis. Uncertain mint, AD 351-354. Overstruck on an 'Urbs Roma' Nummus. D N CONSTANTIVS NOB CAES, bare headed, draped and cuirassed bust right / FEL TEMP REPARATIO, soldier to left, spearing fallen horseman. For overtype, cf. RIC Alexandria 77; for undertype, cf. RIC Alexandria 70. 2.28g, 17mm.

An interesting piece showing the types of a centenionalis of Constantius Gallus as Caesar overstruck on a (much smaller) Urbs Roma nummus that used as the planchet.
