THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 356-337 B.C. Æ tetrachalkon. 8.14 gm. 20 mm. Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly left, hair in ampyx / Bridled horse prancing right; boukranion below, ΛΑΡΙ-Σ-[Α]ΙΩΝ (partially retrograde) around. Rogers 276. BCD Thessaly II 387.4. HGC 4, 517. Good Very Fine; glossy green patina. High relief die resulted in flattened nose on nymph. Nice example of this larger issue.
