This piece is the finest, fully original example we have handled for the catalog number in issued form and certainly will gather the attention of advanced collectors. Deeply embossed original paper throughout is noticed with particularly nice embossing of the words "ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS." Strong purple color makes up the intricate bordering pattern and all we mention are eight small pinholes, a soft off center vertical fold and mostly handling. A quick look at the PMG population report confirms the grade rarity with no pieces graded in the entire Uncirculated grade range and only a scant few in AU state. PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ.
