SINGAPORE. Board of Commissioners of Currency. 100 Dollars, ND (1967-72). P-6ct. Color Trial. PCGS Currency Very Choice New 64.
Color Trial. One of the higher denominations, and more sought after pieces of the set. This color trial uses a blue guilloche border, with intricate violet lathe work cascading down the side. The adopted design has those colors swapped. This piece appears mostly original with what may be described by some as wet ink bleeding in very minor areas at the bottom left of the margin. This imperfection comes nowhere near the design which offers exquisite detail throughout. Red specimen overprints. Cattleya Orchid on the face, with a vignette of Schooners on the reverse. PCGS Currency Very Choice New 64.
