CCC-317; Hsu-456.1; KM-Pn1. VERY RARE. Struck in brass with square hole. Due to the shortage of cash coins in circulation in 1899, issuance of higher denomination coins was planned. Trials were produced in 1899 but never went into full production due to the Boxer Rebellion and the mint being occupied by the Imperial Russian Army. Toned with some luster remaining. PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder.
