CHINA. Kiangnan. 10 Cash Mule, ND (ca. 1912). PCGS Genuine--Tooled, EF Details Secure Holder.
CL-KN.91; Y-Unlisted; CCC-Unlisted; Duan-3170; W-Unlisted. EXTREMELY RARE. Mule of Kiangnan obverse (Y-138.1) with Republic of China reverse (Y-301). Dark brown throughout, on the reverse numerous scratches from long ago now toned over accounting for the details designation and planchet defect at 2 o'clock mentioned for accuracy. Despite the noted defect of being "Tooled" still a presentable example of this interesting mule using dies known for issues that were six years apart. PCGS Genuine--Tooled, EF Details Secure Holder.

From the Q. David Bowers Collection.

Ex. R. B. White.

Estimate: $350.00- $500.00
