CHINA. Square Hole Cash Coins, ND (ca. 907-1861).
10 pieces in lot. An intriguing grouping of Square hole cash, the balance of which is Ching dynasty era. There is an early Liao dynasty piece (Hartill-18.27). Also includes three Tai Ping rebellion issues. Each piece is accompanied by an information card produced by the collector, with one establishing a further provenance to Daniel Ching. Three pieces were purchased from late 1990's Taise-Baldwin-Gillio auctions. Some surface issues may be present, careful examination is suggested and will reward the diligent bidder.
