L&M-20; K-212; WS-0025; Wenchao-89 (rarity two stars). One of the most distinct pattern designs from the late Qing era featuring a border of interlocking wave patterns around the periphery of the inscription. This example is crisply defined throughout with flashy luster and gorgeous concentric russet to lavender toning on both sides. Heavy die polish lines blend with light handling to determine the grade. A RARE and interesting type with a lot of character. ANACS MS-62.
