L&M-114; K-635; KM-Pn169; WS-0153; Wenchao-927 (rarity 3 stars). VERY RARE. Struck in San Francisco after the U.S. Government forced Republican China to continue striking silver coinage after 1935. Of smaller size than the preceding Sun Yat-sen issues. Attractive golden peach obverse tone, with similar hues on the reverse alongside gorgeous sea foam green. A thoroughly appealing example worthy of placement in a sophisticated collection. NGC MS-63.
