CHINA. Dollar, ND (1923). PCGS MS-61 Secure Holder.
L&M-959; K-678; WS-0105. President Tsao Kun in military uniform. Struck during the relatively short presidency of Tsao Kun which began in October of 1923, the year this piece was struck. After Tsao Kun openly bribed National Assembly members with $5,000 in silver dollars to gain the presidency, the overt corruption resulted in rival factions turning against him, with Tsao Kun eventually being ousted in a coup led by General Feng Yuxiang in October of 1924. Boldly struck with razor sharp detail on the face, military decorations, and flags on the reverse. Hints of peripheral toning. An excellent example for the assigned grade. PCGS MS-61 Secure Holder.

Estimate: $4000.00- $6000.00
