17 pieces in lot. A pleasant grouping of about half Republican era issues and half Provincial issues from Anhwei, Chihli, Honan, Hunan, Kiangsoo, Kiangnan, Kwangsi and Szechuan. Some surface issues are present as noted on the NGC and PCGS inserts, such as: Surface Hairlines, Environmental Damage, Spot Removed and Altered Color. Some pieces seem to have been struck with rotated dies, offering an additional layer of sophistication. Several interesting varieties included.
