69 mm; 107.9 gms. The obverse is very similar to the 1932 Los Angeles Olympic Games Participant's medal. This medal, the same size as the Olympic medal, differs only in that the facial features of the athlete have been modified, the lettering on the banner he is holding has been changed, and a short inscription has been added below his feet. The reverse shows a nude male angel leaping into the sky in front of a stone building. Mottled gray and silver patina with some slightly copper-toned areas visible, particularly on the reverse. EXTREMELY FINE.
