CAMBODIA. King Norodom Silvered Brass Coronation Medallet, 1860. NGC Unc Details--Environmental Damage.
25 mm. Lec-112. Obverse with the newly crowned king on horseback, inscription: "A NORODOM 1er ROI DU CAMBODGE" around, and the date 1860 below; Reverse: Cambodian arms with the inscription: "SES MANDARINS ET SON PEUPLE RECONNAISSANTS". The crudely applied silvering is lost from some areas of the design on the obverse, but is essentially complete on the reverse. The environmental damage refers to the pebbled surface resulting from the deterioration or the silvering. NGC Unc Details--Environmental Damage.
