Herakles standing facing, club in hand, holding lion's skin and club, owl to left, (cf.S.391, SNG ANS 78, Van Keuren 87, HN Italy 1385) (illustrated); Acarnania, Leukas (Colony of Corinth), (350-300 B.C.), silver stater, (7.60 g), obv. Pegasos with pointed wing flying to left, L below, rev. head of Athena to left in Corinthian helmet over a leather cap, with stylis (mast and yard arm) and L behind head, (cf.S.2282, Calciati 133 [p.428], cf.BMC 97-102, cf.SNG Cop.357).
