Thrace, Byzantion, (c.240-220 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (12.38 g), obv. veiled head of Demeter to right, wreathed in corn, rev. Poseidon seated to right, on rocks, holding aplustre and trident, to right, monogram before UPU, and behind of SI, in exergue EPI SFODR[IA], (cf.S.1587, SNG BMC Black Sea 61). Fair - very good, heavily corroded with some oxidation attached, rare.
