Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IV, (221-205 B.C.), AE 34 drachm, (32.10 g), Alexandria mint, issued 246-221 B.C., obv. diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front cornucopiae, around BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU, between legs XP monogram, (cf.S.7814, Sv.965, SNG Cop. 173-5, Pitchfork 31). Very fine or better, rough surface.
