Ten pounds, Cerutty/Collins (1918) No. W 671851, medium black seriffed serial numbers, reversed colours (mauve, green and mauve on back) (R.52a; MVR 45a notes p197 two notes known including this note which is cited, Nicholson 11aA). Folds and creases, otherwise good fine and excessively rare, being one of two known.

This type was not present in the other great sales viz the K.M.Deutsher (1977), M.P.Vort-Ronald (1988) or R.A.Williams Collections (1991). Ex Spink Australia Sale 8 (lot 485) and Noble Numismatics Sale 49B (lot 1782, Dr Alan Nicholson Collection) and later private purchase from John Pettit Pty Ltd.
