John Dow, miner, age 25, born at Perthshire, Scotland; Enl. 18Aug1914 at Blackboy Hill, WA; Emb.02Nov1914; sent to join MEF at Gallipoli 02Mar1915; MIA 25Apr1915 at Gallipoli Landing with 11Bn (Western Australia); Board of Enquiry held in France on 17Jun1916 determined that this should now be KIA; commemorated at Lone Pine Memorial.
