SASANIAN KINGS. Vahrām (Bahram) IV. AD 388-399. AR Drachm (25mm, 4.00 g, 3h). AS (Aspahān or Aspānvar[?]) mint. Diademed bust right, wearing winged mural crown with korymbos and inner ribbon / Fire altar with ribbons; flanked by two attendants; 'S (in Pahlavi [mint signature]) to right of flames, blundered legends at sides, RASTY (in Pahlavi = Just") on altar shaft. SNS type Ia2/3 (pl. 36, 23); Sunrise –. Good VF, attractively toned, light scratch in field on obverse."
