ALEXAN · VII · PONT · MAX · A · III, bust right, wearing taenia and mantum; · G M · below / Saint Peter above facing left, holding a keys, and directing toward victims of the plague lying below to left; to right, Angel of Death, seen from behind, holding sword and skull; St. Peter's Basilica in background to left; VT VMBRA ILLIVS LIBERARENTVR in exergue. Roma Resurgens 78 (this medal). EF, rich red-brown surfaces, scratch in obverse field.
