MISCELLANEOUS. Group of six (6) AR, Æ and CU-NI Medals and Coins. A group of medals, pendants, and coins of French and uncertain manufacture manufacture from the late 16th to 20th centuries. Medals include Reliquary of the head of St. John the Baptist in the Cathedral at Amiens, medal of Dr. Claude Chauveau, secret society medallet and ribbon, various tokens, and a silver and bronze memorial medallet of Charles Nungesser, 'The Knight of Death'. Coins includes issues of Angola and Gibraltar 2 coins). Lot also includes a silver skull-and-crossbones pendant. All medals include skulls in the motif as in keeping with the theme of this collection. Items Fine to UNC.
