THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 460-400 BC. AR Trihemiobol (14mm, 1.29 g, 9h). ΟΠ below, warrior, holding two spears, on horse prancing right / ΛΑ-P-I, the nymph Larissa, seated to right on chair, the back of which terminates in a swan's head, throwing a ball and holding hoop below; all in shallow incuse square with rounded edges. BCD Thessaly II 360.3; HGC 4, 470. Good Fine, toned, granular surfaces, minor marks. Rare.
