Great Britain
Henry VI (First Reign, 1422-61) gold Noble ND (1422-30) MS63 PCGS, London mint, Annulet Issue, S-1799, N-1414. Lis mm. Crowned king with sword and shield standing facing in ship, annulet by his sword arm / Floriate cross with h in central quadrilobe. 'Mint State' for these Nobles can often mean weak striking, irregular flans or planchet cracks, but this superb specimen exhibits none of these detriments; indeed, its strike is strong and perfectly centered, its surfaces sleek and lustrous and a creamy goldenrod, every detail boldly represented. An intensely attractive example in a coveted certified grade, highly unusual as nice as this.
