A rarer type for this early Noble of Henry VI, and in stunning Mint State preservation; bright, lustrous and with superb surfaces, a creamy yellow-gold with crisp details indicative of a strong hammer strike. An exceptional survivor from Calais, the "brightest jewel in the English crown", and the sole certified example by either NGC or PCGS. Worthy of the finest cabinets of English hammered gold.
