Bahamas Bahamas Government £1 ND (1953) Pick 15b. Two Consecutive Examples. A consecutive pair of these always popular notes. Superior embossing and colors are seen on both examples which share the PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ grade. Though the 4 Shillings note was more popular, as it was similar in value to the dollar of the Bahamas's largest trading partner, the United States, £1 and £5 notes were introduced as they were common integer values of the Bahamas Pound.
