BC-4 $2 1935. Queen Mary, wife of King George V is featured on this always popular French text note. The blue underprint continues to shine on this all original note with the EPQ designation. Allegorical representations of Mercury and transport are featured on the back. Despite having a print run of 5.3 million notes, these low denomination notes were expected to be circulated heavily, and any examples in Gem condition are very elusive.
