East Africa Currency Board 10,000 Shillings = 500 Pounds 15.12.1921 Pick 19 Face Proof Essay Design and Back Artist Essay. These very rare Face and Back Thomas de la Rue Essays are of the highest denomination for the Mombasa first issue. The face grades PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 and it is partially hand drawn and colored. The back is PMG About Uncirculated 55 and sports a vignette of a lion on the prowl. Both sides are mounted separately on board within recessed windows. Only a couple of auction appearances have occurred for this Pick number in all forms that we know about and those were both in 2013.
