Egypt National Bank of Egypt £100 ND (1913-19) Pick 16s Specimen. Quite simply, the sole finest example of this elusive design in any type in the PMG Census. Though both this design and the later design (Pick 17) both featured the Mohammed Ali Mosque in Cairo, this example features the design in the center, and was issued for only seven years between 1913 and 1919. The multicolor underprints are wonderfully preserved on this example, with the stainless paper reflecting every color brilliantly. Annotations further help date this example to an earlier 1911 date, two years before the first issued note. A simply striking and very enticing example with the all original EPQ designation. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ. From the Feeling Good Collection HID08701242017
