Iran Banque Mellie 1000 Rials ND (1937) Pick 37As Specimen. A grandly sized Specimen with superior centering and heavy embossing. Colors are wonderful on this presentation example with all zero serial numbers. Annotations in the bottom margin further help date this example to 20th July 1937. This design with Reza Shah facing forward is much more elusive than the three-quarters design. Mount Damavand is featured on the back.
