Isles of France and of Bourbon Colonies et Marine 500 Livres Tournois 10.7.1788 Pick 12. An elusive and historically important note. This example printed in France in a style very similar to contemporary notes were intended for circulation in France's colony in what is today Mauritius (Isle of France) and Reunion (Isle of Bourbon). This example is the second highest denomination issued out of just two series of notes in 1788 and 1790.
