Reunion Banque de la Reunion 2 Francs 12.8.1943 Pick 35. A note from the series which followed the short-lived Vichy series. Though using largely the same design, the Vichy Axe has been replaced by the Cross of Lorraine of the Free French Forces, after the liberation of the remote French region. The signature of the Director of the Banque de la Reunion remained the same. An excellent example in Gem condition, as these notes were issued to replace coins in circulation and expected to be heavily circulated. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ with great embossing noticed.
