Turkey Turkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankasi 50 Livres (Turk Lirasi) 1930 Pick 122pe (Unlisted) Printer's Essay. An interesting design that although it looks like the Pick 122 50 Livres of the 1926 series, sharing the same layout, portraits and vignettes, it is not. This design should be counted as an unlisted design, as it was never issued and different enough to be its own type. Headings are all written in the Turkish Latin alphabet recently introduced, with the denomination in Turk Lirasi instead of Livres Turques. All issued notes of this series had legends in the Ottoman Turkish alphabet and French. Heavy embossing is seen on this presentation example that was most likely prepared to have been issued, except cancelled at the last stage as a reduced size series was introduced.
