PTOLEMAIC EGYPT. Ptolemy II Philadelphus, 285-246 B.C. AR Decadrachm (35.18 gms), Alexandria Mint, ca. 265-241 B.C.
Svoronos-961 (Ptolemy III). Veiled and diademed head of Arsinoe II facing right, monogram behind; Reverse: Double cornucopiae with legend around. Minor graffito at 10:30 on the reverse, just after the legend, light encrustation on bottom left of the reverse. Despite this, a wholly attractive piece with excellent strike details. NGC Ch EF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 3/5. Light Graffito.
