Obverse: + PhILIPPVS : DЄI : GRA : FRAnCORVM : RЄX, the king seated on a Gothic throne, a scepter in his right hand; reverse: + : XP'C : VInCIT : XP'C : RЄGИAT : XP'C : IMPЄRAT, cross fleuree with central quatrefoil all within quadrilobe with arches ending in trefoils, crowns in spandrels and triple annulet stops. Placed on a broad, round flan, possessing intense mint luster over the surfaces and showcasing a deep strike, with unbelievably crisp central design motifs and fully legible legends. Important quality for the type, and certainly worthy of "finest known" consideration. NGC MS-65.
