A superior example of the "ecu de France" struck at Paris Mint over an "ecu de France-Navarre" (mintmark "A", date illegible). Displaying a bold portrait with soft luster in the fields and intermingled gray and gold tone on both sides. Essentially free of all contact marks. NGC MS-62.
