FRANCE. 100 Franc, 1855-A. Paris Mint. PCGS MS-62.
Fr-569; KM-786.1; Gad-1135. The first issue for the denomination, struck partially as a display of French financial stability and largely in response to the nearby Kingdom of Sardinia that had previously issued the 100 Lire in the same weight. This example, finer than most seen, is frosty, lustrous and impressively mark-free for the grade. All considered, a coin that appears worthy of a strong bid. PCGS MS-62.
Ex: Chaponniere Collection.
Estimate: $1800.00- $2600.00
