Fr-251; KM-264. Diesinker Heinrich Straub. Head right as Count Palatine of the Rhine and Duke of both Bavarias; Reverse: Seated Inn river god with flowing urn and Bavarian Arms, "EX AURO OENI", From Inn Gold. Struck employing alluvial gold recovered from the bed of the Inn, companion to the Danube and Isar gold which have long fascinated collectors. Attractively preserved with luminous flashes of prooflike reflectivity existing around the protected surfaces and rosy tone settled into the open fields. Little wear appears over the surfaces, with evenly spread handling being the better indicator of preservation. Extremely collectible as a type. NGC AU-55.
