21.93 gms. Dav-2377; KM-13; Mailliet-pl. LXIX #7. Struck by Prince Karl Alexander of Wurttemberg who commanded the Habsburg occupation force between 1709-13. At the end of this period the French besieged the fortified city between June and August of 1713 led by Claude Louise Hector de Villars. All seven stamps are boldly applied with all complete and detailed including the circular arms at the center. Toned a handsome old cabinet gray with an inventory number "7223" inked on the back.
