GERMANY. Munster. Taler, 1706. Friedrich Christian von Plettenberg (1688-1706). NGC MS-65.
KM-135; Dav-2464A. Struck to commemorate the death of Prince Bishop Friedrich Christian. A stunning showpiece, this coin displays pinpoint detail through the design and silky smooth luster that remains unmarred by evidence of past handling. Equally impressive to the eye is the blanket of tone that now rests over the surfaces, with mostly intermingled gray, gold and faint purple color in the fields and instances of richer multicolored hues around the 12-line inscription on the reverse. Together, the epitome of originality and worthy of placement in even the most advanced collection of talers. NGC MS-65.

Estimate: $2500.00- $3000.00
