GERMANY. Saxony. 2 Talers, 1839-G. Dresden Mint. NGC MS-64.
Dav-874; KM-1149. A scarcer date of this relatively common double Taler issue, struck in the Kingdom of Saxony from 1839 to 1854. Elusive in the near-Gem preservation, the surfaces of this survivor display almost no marks and only faint, wispy handling that determines the grade. Presently tied with one other example for the finest certified at NGC. NGC MS-64.
