GREAT BRITAIN. Penny, ND (833-870). Ceolnoth. Moneyer Biarnred. PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder.
S-894; North-246. Type issued under the Archbishops of Canterbury. North gives an approximate date of 865 for this issue. This piece is exceptionally well struck with not even the slightest weakness in the devices or legends. Light yellow and green tone accents gray base coloration on both sides. RARE in any grade and especially elusive in this stunning condition; a true gem for the type. PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder.
