Fr-214; S-2534. Woolpack mintmark (sixth issue). Smoothed in the obverse fields with close inspection revealing several instances where scratches once depressed the surfaces. Although imperfect, the detail within the designs remains extremely sharp, with superb legends that are virtually free of doubling and central motifs that are impressively crisp. Light reddish toning along the legends helps restore some of the appearance of originality that was diminished by the repair. All considered, an ideal representative for the budgeted type collector that can't stomach the cost of a problem-free example of this classic issue. PCGS Genuine--Repaired, AU Details Secure Holder.
